NTRES 4300: Environmental Policy Processes

Applications for NTRES 4300 are now being accepted until October 12th, 2018. This course explores the creation, implementation, and evaluation of environmental policy at the federal level. Students enroll for this as a spring 2019 term course. Organizational meetings will occur this fall, then students will spend January 2-12, 2018 at the Wolpe Cornell Center in Washington, D.C. conducting research and meeting with Washington policy-makers. Spring semester requirements include four 2-hour evening sessions, regular meetings with course instructors, extensive time completing research on an environmental policy topic, presenting an oral overview of this policy topic, and completing two (one long, one short) policy briefs.
