Natural Resources faculty and staff are unmatched in their diversity of expertise in natural resources and environmental sustainability. Expertise ranges from conservation genetics to global ecological processes, and from individual and group environmental behavior to influences of institutions and social systems as drivers of environmental change. They are dedicated to applying their expertise to teaching, research, extension and outreach responsibilities, including advising policy makers.

Janis Dickinson

Professor Dickinson's research spans the fields of behavioral ecology, evolutionary ecology, and molecular ecology of birds and insects. She is interested in citizen science as an ecological tool, andher work involves development of research models that blend exploratory research with citizen participation.
