Natural Resources faculty and staff are unmatched in their diversity of expertise in natural resources and environmental sustainability. Expertise ranges from conservation genetics to global ecological processes, and from individual and group environmental behavior to influences of institutions and social systems as drivers of environmental change. They are dedicated to applying their expertise to teaching, research, extension and outreach responsibilities, including advising policy makers.

Keith Tidball

Keith Tidball

Dr. Tidball serves as Associate Director of the Civic Ecology Lab and Program Leader for the Nature & Human Security Program. He is also the New York State Coordinator for the New York Extension Disaster Education Network. His research and extension work is focused on better understanding how to amplify recruitment of citizen conservationists and the development of a 21st century land ethic, elements he theorizes are critical to both community and social-ecological resilience.
