Natural Resources faculty and staff are unmatched in their diversity of expertise in natural resources and environmental sustainability. Expertise ranges from conservation genetics to global ecological processes, and from individual and group environmental behavior to influences of institutions and social systems as drivers of environmental change. They are dedicated to applying their expertise to teaching, research, extension and outreach responsibilities, including advising policy makers.

Randy Jackson

James Randy Jackson studies applied fisheries ecology, including sampling, assessment and management of fish populations that support recreational fisheries. He also serves as a primary liaison between the Department of Natural Resources and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation.
