Woodswoman Fund honors LaBastille - inspires future women scholars

The estate of Anne LaBastille '55, Ph.D. '69 has established the Woodswoman Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to female doctoral students with demonstrated need who study conservation or natural resources. On Nov. 19, professors, students and admirers gathered in Fernow Hall for a special presentation to commemorate LaBastille’s life and announce the creation of this self-sustaining fund.
