Natural Resources faculty and staff are unmatched in their diversity of expertise in natural resources and environmental sustainability. Expertise ranges from conservation genetics to global ecological processes, and from individual and group environmental behavior to influences of institutions and social systems as drivers of environmental change. They are dedicated to applying their expertise to teaching, research, extension and outreach responsibilities, including advising policy makers.

Clifford Kraft

Professor Kraft studies ecosystem interactions that influence the management of freshwater fish populations in lakes and rivers -- with an emphasis on Adirondack ecosystems. The overall goal of his research program is to understand ecological interactions regulating the abundance of key aquatic organisms, such as sport fish, nuisance invaders and rare species.
